continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Heavyline Machine Installation &
Demonstration Engineer to join our team.

Main Purpose of the Role:

As a Heavyline Machine Installation & Demonstration Engineer, you will play a key role in
delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring the correct installation,
commissioning, and demonstration of new JCB Heavyline machinery. This includes excavators,
wheeled loaders and other large plant equipment. You will be the technical expert and brand
ambassador on-site, ensuring that our customers understand the full capabilities of their new
equipment and how to operate it safely and efficiently.

Duties:

• Conduct on-site delivery, installation, and commissioning of new JCB Heavyline
equipment.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of machine features, functions, and best operating
practices to end-users.
• Ensure machines are set up according to customer requirements and JCB specifications.
• Deliver operator and basic maintenance training to customer teams.
• Work closely with sales, service, and product support teams to ensure a seamless
handover process.
• Conduct machine walkarounds, PDI checks, and system calibration prior to delivery.
• Maintain high levels of product knowledge across the JCB range.
• Assist with technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting where required.
• Record and report installation and demonstration activity, including customer feedback.
• Adhere to all health & safety, environmental, and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in plant, construction, or agricultural machinery – ideally with
Heavyline or large plant equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Confident in delivering training and demonstrations to end-users and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant or Agricultural
Engineering) – ideal
• Familiarity with JCB machines is an advantage, though full training will be provided.
