As the largest site dumper in the JCB range, the 9T-2 is an extremely powerful and productive machine that’s designed to shift huge loads of material.

The 9T-2 is also a very easy dumper to operate, courtesy of 4-speed permanent four-wheel-drive powershuttle transmission, and it’s built tough enough to handle anything that the rental market can throw up.

To further maximise productivity, you can expect a wealth of features to boost comfort, safety, serviceability and ease-of-use.

BUILD QUALITY AND RELIABILITY

Huge amounts of expertise and innovation have gone into the new range of JCB site dumpers. They’re exceptionally rugged and durable, built ready to tackle anything the rental market can throw at them.

State-of-the-art manufacturing processes like robot machining, precision paint technology and innovative assembly techniques help to achieve the very highest levels of build quality.

Precision machining techniques ensure high tolerances and accurate location of your JCB 9T-2 dumper’s pins and bushes.

Your new JCB site dumper will have benefited from finite element analysis and rig testing to ensure superior structural strength and durability. For further peace of mind, cold cell testing guarantees starting performance down to -15°C.

EASE OF OPERATION

JCB Dieselmax engine features Auto DPF regeneration resulting in zero downtime.

Easy and fast servicing is essential to any rental machine, so a 9T JCB site dumper features exceptionally easy ground level service access thanks to a large opening engine canopy, providing maximum access to all areas.

Flat, clean skip design enable effective material discharge and easy cleaning.

SAFETY

Folding ROPS/FOPS level II with optional folding ROPS frame. JCB’s manufacturers recommendation is FOPS protection, folding ROPS frame is site and risk assessment dependent. Additional levels of protection and comfort are also available through the innovative JCB SiTESAFE cab.

Site safety is assured through sequenced two-stage drive inhibit system: the operator needs to be sat on the seat with lap belt engaged before driving. That’s not all, an initial-movement alarm alerts pedestrians of the dumpers imminent movement. High performance oil-immersed disc brakes on both axles provide excellent stopping power in all conditions.

The safety features don’t end there; green LED seat belt indicator beacon, white noise reverse alarm, and high-visibility painted steps and grab rails are all available as optional add-ons.

The optional JCB SiTESAFE cab is fitted with a Hammerglass™ front screen, and has been designed to withstand a front dump impact and side slewing impact from a 13 tonne excavator and side slewing impact from a 20T excavator.

Testimonials

Tents & Events – Ben Newell – Managing Director

Reliability is mandatory in the events sector so we opted to take delivery of the JCB. Finding out that the unit was specified as standard with the LiveLink Telematics system was a bonus. We have trackers on all our other machines, but this does so much more than just tracking.

Linroyale Potatoes – Stewart Clarke – MD

Our JCB generator not only provides a reliable power source but the telematics are proving very useful in assessing our work schedules. The saving in fuel each year comfortably pays for the maintenance agreement.
